Many Hollywood celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, or Helena Christiansen have also successfully used this theory. They introduced a system intensifies your workout, the less time you need and prove successful.

“For me the 20 minute cardio sessions a day is enough to get a healthy heartbeat” explains Helena Christiansen.

This theory was further supported by an explanation of the Supervisory Council on Exercise American consumers who recommend ‘brief fitness program’ for those who want to get quick results.

Even the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), also confirmed that 20 minutes of high intensity exercise is as good as 40-45 minutes of cardio at medium speed.

“But still keep in mind the less time the intensity of exercise should be getting heavier” said Steve Barrett, fitness expert and author of Trade Secrets of A Personal Trainer.

Barrett also added that although brief, but systems like this sport should be considered elements of progress. So exercises not static.

“Consistency is the key. Ideally, you should perform five practice sessions a week for 20 minutes, or combine two or three times 20 minutes of aerobic exercise with activities like walking, running or biking” he concluded.

You may have noticed that the news is buzzing with breastfeeding articles lately! Recently, the Surgeon General released a Call to Action to Support Breastfeeding, detailing how we can all support a mom’s decision to breastfeed. In addition, Healthy People 2020 raised the bar for moms and babies.

We know that most moms want to breastfeed their babies—recent data shows that 82% of moms in Massachusetts started breastfeeding. But the number of moms who continue to breastfeed drops dramatically soon after birth. By 2 months of age, only 47% of infants are exclusively breastfeeding, meaning that they are receiving only breast milk and no formula.

As many moms can tell you, this striking shift after birth has a lot do with the lack of support for breastfeeding mothers. The fact that so many moms begin breastfeeding demonstrates that moms know this is a good choice. Many moms can also tell you that breastfeeding isn’t easy in the beginning. A lack of support is sometimes enough to put doubt in a mom’s mind that she can continue.

You might be thinking, “So, how can I support a mom’s decision to breastfeed?”

• In the early days, moms want help, but not necessarily help caring for her baby. Helping her out with chores around the house can help take her mind off of less important things- so that she can bond with her baby.

• Remind mom of the great job she’s doing and help her feel comfortable while breastfeeding.

• If you are an employer, set aside a private room for mom to pump milk while she is at work. A new federal law requires employers to accommodate breastfeeding moms up to a year after delivering her baby with adequate time and space to pump. Read more about this new law here.

• If you are a medical provider, family member, or friend, consider referring mom to a WIC program near you. WIC provides services, such as individualized breastfeeding assessment, education and support; breastfeeding classes and support groups; help accessing pumps; Mother-to-Mother Peer Support; and much more!

To find a WIC program in your area and to see if you qualify, visit: www.mass.gov/wic. Information about breastfeeding can be found under ‘Breastfeeding Support’ on this site. Even moms that do not qualify for WIC may call a program to get in touch with other community breastfeeding resources.

For moms who do not qualify for WIC, the La Leche League International helps moms to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and the mother.

Men and women who are doing their best to follow a diet and lose weight often look for what has become known as a healthy food, foods labeled “low fat” fat “or” diet. “Since people do not always read the labels and producers do their best to hide the effect of these foods, it is not surprising that some people do not lose as much weight as possible in a particular diet. Trying very difficult to stay away from sweets and soft drinks is useless when the supposedly healthy food more difficult to lose weight.

The biggest problem is the fact that many healthy foods contain ingredients such as corn syrup high fructose, hydrogenated oils and sugar normal. This is the trick that the producers used to sell healthy foods labeled, although not so. The words “fat” printed on the label attractive points, but nowhere is it said that the lack of fat is more than offset by the sugar content. While producers have to meet a certain standard in order to be able to call their foods, “low fat” or “fat free, no regulations exist for the word” diet. “

Be careful when buying any type of yogurt and yogurt-based desserts, because milk companies like to boast of their support for healthy lifestyles. Because people who like yogurt worry about the amount of fat found in these products, dairy companies have rushed to launch lower-fat versions, and the fat of their best-selling brands. What they are reluctant to tell the world that need sugar desserts and “low fat” does not mean “sugar.” In fact, customers can be very surprised to find that the low-fat yogurt can be the equivalent of a chocolate bar in terms of sugar.

Energy bars are another problem. People like them because the drastic reduction in calories, which is one of the basic features of all diets, it puts energy reserves under heavy pressure. It is difficult to spend the day and do all the things you’re used to do during the first two weeks of diet, when the body is still adjusting to reduced food intake. Energy bars sound like a good way to spend the day without eating, but not quite that simple. The main source of energy for the body contained in the bars of energy is, of course, sugar.

And let’s not forget the fruit juice. Many people like your help on a daily drink of fruit instead of eating, but fresh fruits and fruit juices are not the same thing. Producers need to add to the juices of various substances in order to prevent spoilage. They also add sugar to the juice, and some fruits are naturally sweet enough to satisfy the tastes of customers. Not all the extra sugar is good for people trying to lose weight. The best thing to do is jump and eats fresh fruit juices.

Diabetes is a serious illness and proper care is essential to staying healthy. People with diabetes need to be careful what they eat and when you eat. This particular disease is very sensitive and any small mistake can cause the level of blood sugar to rise tremendously. Very often, people suffering from this disease are also concerned with high cholesterol, high blood pressure or obesity. Taking all this into account, a healthy diet for a diabetic is a must.

Healthy food habit for diabetics is to monitor your intake of carbohydrates. Carbohydrate consumption is just as important as proper sugar intake. Carbohydrates are simply a different type of sugar and they can impact the blood levels in the same way as sugar in a cake or candy. Some foods to be served in controlled portions include pastas, potatoes and bread. These foods, along with other products high in carbohydrates raise blood sugar levels in the blood. A good diet for someone suffering from this disease should be low in sugar, fat and carbohydrates.

<script type="text/javascript"

Another thing to consider when a diabetic has to be consistent with meal times. Try not to let your blood sugar by not eating too low or too high by eating too often. In addition, making a meal, make sure you understand what is written on the label of food. Be aware of the ingredients, portion sizes, and any additives that a product may contain. Some products may contain ingredients that without knowing it, will add to your intake of sugar a day. Therefore, it is important to be aware of what they are consuming.
