I was recently in studies of “Orale con Veronica”, to share with the charismatic host of this weekly program, Veronica Robles, which the Department of Public Health, Massachusetts is doing to improve the health of minority communities and, specifically, Hispanic community.

In this interview, which will air on Saturday talked about health problems that affect a large percentage of Hispanic residents in the region? healthy foods changed my life How Healthy Food Changed My Life? Often, developing healthy eating habits is not as restrictive or as confusing as several individuals imagine. The first and foremost principle of healthy nutrition is simply eating a wide variety of foodstuffs. This is more important, as various foodstuffs make varied dietary contributions.

Second, vegetables, fruits, vegetables and grains are needed, as these foods are rich in carbohydrates, fiber, minerals, vitamins and low in fatty substances and cholesterol free.

It is also better balance between caloric expenditure and caloric intake. That is, avoid eating more food than the body can consume. Otherwise, there is the possibility of gaining extra weight. Therefore, the more active a person, the more you can eat and maintain this balance.

This does not mean that these three basic steps suggest a person to sacrifice his favorite food. Meanwhile, a person’s diet is rich in fiber and nutrients and well balanced, there is nothing wrong.
